Supporting your wellbeing
At Berkshire Healthcare, we know that health and wellbeing is an important part of working life. We want to support you, so you can thrive at work.
When you start, you’ll be able to access the full health and wellbeing support but the information below is just a flavour.
Physical health and mental wellbeing
- Wellbeing Matters — Our internal team provide expert and confidential psychological support to colleagues and teams.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) delivered by Health Assured – Support for personal and professional problems which could be affecting your general wellbeing. This includes in the moment emotional support, short term solution focused counselling (if clinically relevant), as well as financial and legal information. You’ll also get access to their app which contains helpful information, programmes and guides.
- Mental Health First Aiders – Trained colleagues who can provide a listening ear and signposting to support services.
- Free Apps – Covering a variety of areas such as mindfulness, sleep, and mental wellbeing.
- Occupational Health – Clinical advice on health-related issues affecting your at work.
- Early Physio Support – Access to physiotherapy for any injury that is impacting on you at work, via self-referral.
- Peppy – App based support for menopause and men’s health – connecting you with expert practitioners as well as courses, forums and events.
Financial wellbeing and benefits
- Salary Finance – Access financial education, savings, loans and salary advances.
- Financial education sessions – In partnership with Affinity Connect, focusing on general financial wellbeing and pensions.
- Discounts and other benefits – Including eye tests, cycle to work scheme and complimentary Blue Light Card.
